Tools: Unity / Duration: 3 months / Team size: 5 / Primary role: Game Designer/Engineer
A mobile, AR experience built for Deloitte University’s “DU HUB” space (a petting zoo built to feature innovative technology and showcase the firm’s capabilities to clients and senior leadership). Experience leveraged Vuforia and object recognition to illustrate repair and maintenance use cases on a Hitachi air compressor.
My Responsibilities
Lead Game Designer:
· Wrote exhibit copy intended to expand on the AR experience (additional AR use cases, various methods of tracking, and the future of AR)
· Worked with junior designer and oversaw development of user flow deliverable
· Led client deliverable reviews
Scripting:
· Built “Explore Mode”, an index of all the compressor parts that could be navigated either by an onscreen UI or my clicking on regions of the compressor itself (shown in the video below at https://youtu.be/lXf4ZQxQhRM?t=135)
